Ante las graves inundaciones provocadas por las fuertes tormentas caídas recientemente en los campamentos saharauis de Argelia, desde Sahara Marathon nos ponemos rápidamente en acción para tratar de ayudar en la rápida reconstrucción de las estructuras básicas más dañadas.

Las aportaciones donadas por todos los corredores solidarios y amigos del pueblo saharaui se destinarán íntegramente a los trabajos para poner en pie y en funcionamiento las escuelas y hospitales que requieran una inmediata actuación.

Esta vez ha sido la naturaleza la que ha golpeado al Sahara y nos ha vuelto a recordar la injusticia que vive este pueblo. Es tiempo de arrimar el hombro.

Given the severe flooding caused by the recent heavy storms in the Sahrawi camps in Algeria, the Sahara Marathon staff isquickly getting into action to try to assist the rapid reconstruction of the more basic damaged structures. Our families' houses are mostly destroyed and we can't stay with our arms crossed.

The contributions donated by all runners and friends supportive of the Saharawi people will go entirely and directly to the most affected families and to set up and operate schools and hospitals that require immediate action.

This time it was nature that hit the Sahara and reminded us of the injustice that these people live. It's time to lend a hand.
